Greetings from Sydney

Murmur was selected to present “A Review of Global Social Marketing Case Studies involving HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and STBBIs” at the World Social Marketing conference in Sydney, Australia, this week. The presentation will review five excellent examples of social marketing efforts that have worked to mitigate the spread of sexually transmitted infections. It's an interesting mix of cases with a variety of priority populations, methods, and outcomes. The case reseearch was done on behalf of the Pubic Health Agency of Canada, in collaboration with Cullbridge Marketing.
The central point of the presentation is that creative solutions do exist for even low-budget programs to carry out high-quality work, by reviewing best practices and adapting the steps taken. Cases shared demonstrated how practitioners could take their social marketing programs to an even more rigorous and convincing level of research, design, and evaluation. I'm eager to hear what listeneners think about it.
Hope to see you at #WSMC2015!
